Robyn has deep roots in the region and in community service. Her great grandmother graduated University of California Berkeley and taught English as a career. Her grandfather served as a police officer in Richmond and Concord. After her parents left the United States Army, they settled in Antioch and taught her that through hard work and with humble respect, anything can be accomplished.

Robyn graduated from high school in Antioch, after which she served eight years in the United States Navy, completing five overseas deployments aboard the nuclear submarine USS Michigan. Following her military service, she returned to Contra Costa County and settled in Concord in 2015. She later worked at the Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County, first as Food Pantry Manager and then as Director of Community Programs, before leaving to complete law school. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Juris Doctorate.

Robyn has remained deeply involved in her community. She has served as President of the Lambda Democratic Club, President of the Rainbow Community Center Board of Directors, and in several leadership roles with the Contra Costa Democratic Party, including Club Development Chair and Parliamentarian. She currently serves as Controller and as a Democratic Party delegate. In 2023, she was recognized with the Outstanding Democrat Award.

After earning her law degree, Robyn transitioned into education and currently works as a substitute teacher in the Mount Diablo Unified School District.

Whether through education, community service, or civic engagement, Robyn has remained committed to showing up, listening, and working alongside her neighbors to strengthen the community she calls home.

When she isn't working or volunteering in the community, Robyn enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy, hiking East Bay Regional Park trails, and spending time with her friends, partner, and orange cat, Rocco Paco.
